1. I’m always eager to learn new things and dedicated to accomplishing the tasks I set for myself.  

I started to learn swimming when I was five, and started to learn synchronized swimming when I was eight. I won the Chinese synchronized swimming champion at the age of twelve. I’d like to work hard to do my best ever since I was a kid. Though growing up inland, I always love the sea in my heart. I accidentally watch a movie named The Big Blue, from which I learned about the extreme sport, freediving. I think it is the real way to feel the ocean by freediving. With my childhood experience, I successfully got the AIDA level 2 freediving certification in a week.I’ve watched another documentary about scuba divers surveying under the seabed. I realized freediving is not enough for me to learn about ocean, so I spent a week in Philippines to pass the test for open water scuba diver license.

2. Carefulness and perseverance are also my strengths.

After I started studying in America, my body became unsuitable and my immune system was weakened because of the new environment. Then I started working out regularly. I go to the gym 3-4 times every week and I record and edit videos about what I look like when I exercise, which I shared with my family and friends. Fitness makes me feel that there will be gains if I work hard on something so I have always insisted on it. To have a better figure, I’ll study fitness methods, movements and diets from fitness professionals.

3. Strong learning ability, love to study

During my master program, our professor assigned a task that must include a one-minute motion graph video, but I didn’t learn how to make motion graphic due to the course arrangement. Originally my professor allowed me to use poster design instead, but I wanted to try and see if I can make a video myself. I spent two days to learn how to make a motion graph video, among which I took half a day to watch the official tutorial to master the structure and functions of the AE software, and spent another day to make a one-minute motion graph video, half a day to recorded the bgm. The final product was appreciated by the teacher.

4. Know how to arrange my time, study hard to enrich myself

I learned Java programming and knew about backend when I was in college. During my study in AAU, I learned uiux design and front end programming. In addition, I signed up for Boot Camps for backend courses, during which I learned thoroughly about CS fundamental, algorithm, data structure, Objective Oriented Design, and System Design.
